About this event
Join us for our first sim racing tournament at Sim Racing South Barrington. The event will be a great chance to meet with your fellow club members and enjoy some racing competition during the off season. Club members get discounted entry, and we are excited to welcome those who are joining for the first time in the 2026 season with free entry! If you're ready to get started in on-track driving, this event is a great chance to meet our club members who will be happy to share their experience with you.
Friends and family are welcome, as well as any NSSCC friends or prospective members. If anyone just wants to come and hang out, but doesn't want to race, they're also welcome to join us in our reserved area.
We're planning the details of the tournament format and will announce it closer to the event. There will be a practice session, heat races and a final. Drivers can expect to get about 20-25 minutes of simulator time. We'll be ordering appetizers to share with the group, and drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.
We have simulators reserved from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Please arrive 20 minutes early to get a quick briefing on the simulator rigs and get prepared to drive! The facility asks that clean shoes are worn while in the rigs. If the weather isn't good, please bring a pair of sneakers or driving shoes to change into.
Event requirements
Participants must be at least 12 years old and 4'9" tall.
