The Classic weekend is definitely ON! We just had a telecon with VSCDA, BFR and MC to work out the last details.
Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs is calling all members, racers and volunteers to help staff the 2020 VSCDA Blackhawk Vintage Classic XXVIII. Join us for three days of great vintage racing, including six different open and closed wheel race groups. Friday will feature practice and qualifying sessions, Saturday will typically feature qualifying sessions, Sprint and Heat races, plus a one hour Enduro, Sunday will feature a second one hour Enduro, Feature races, the Spridget, Trans Am/B Sedan and Dad's Day Handicap Scramble specialty races, and still finishes up early by about 4:30pm.
There are only minor restrictions required by the track and by the state of Illinois: masks must be worn when you are at registration, inside a building, or must be closer than 6 feet to other people. Although large dinner gatherings are not allowed, VSCDA is still bringing in Francesca's great Italian for Saturday dinner and all Friday staffers will all get carryout dinners on MC.
